What a sensational day for a wedding … the sun was shining, the sky was blue … and the attention to detail that this couple put in to make their day extra special really showed.

The wonderful Jessie Broome from J-Studios was good enough to come over from Melbourne to second shoot this wedding with me, and it was so much fun. A HUGE day (10 hours shooting) but it was full of colourful characters and wonderful locations …

Kate and I photographed this gorgeous couple tie the knot on Saturday accompanied by their close friends and family.  J and C married at one of my favourite wedding locations around Adelaide – the beautiful Cummins House. There are so many photo locations around the grounds of this property it is hard to know which way to go! Teamed up with J, C and their very patient and cooperative bridal party, we were set for an easy day of shooting! We then moved on to the shores of the Adelaide Sailing Club, the venue for the reception and although it was incredibly windy we managed to get a few shots on the seaside as well.

J & C – What a fabulous day – thank you for choosing us to share it with you. I have said this so many times but I’ll say it again. I love my job.

I have known this stunning bride for over ten years. She is an amazing friend. And she had an amazing wedding. A relaxed morning. A perfectly overcast day with enough wind to blow the white sails which lined the ocean surface which was the backdrop for the ceremony. A gorgeous family. A proud father. Rose petals. My heart melted. It was truly incredible. I thank you SO much for including me in your day. It was a true gift and I will remember it forever. While my first priority was bridesmaid duties, how could I not get my camera out and snap these two?! They gave me half an hour. I took every minute. LOL!

You both looked absolutely amazing. See you soon honeymooners!!

okay, so here I am, all bridesmaided up…….! I tell you what….. it aint easy taking photos in a strapless dress and killer heels!!! lol!!!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous family on a beautiful property in the Adelaide Hills. 

The first session I have had that not only included an electric car, a beautiful boarder collie, but a horse as well!

I had the pleasure of shooting a lovely family this morning – location – Stratha- the most cooperative children I have ever photographed!! Apparantly Grandma has a broomstick hidden in her cupboard so perhaps this is why LOL!  Thank you for being so cooperative, for playing the game and for your great ideas Blake! Love is certainly in the air in South Australia – the wedding season is now in full swing!  Matthew and Natalie have recently got engaged – what better time to capture the luuuurve between a young couple…. oh, they are so sweet! Could you ask for a more perfect wedding day? Seriously, it was absolutely perfect. Kelly and Matthew married yesterday in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens followed by a fun filled photoshoot – lots of laughs and giggles. These two are just gorgeous. 

the photo booth we set up at the reception was a HUGE hit! Thank you to all the guests for making a fabulous effort to ALL get photographed – your were fantastic!
