…..you were getting ready for your high school formal….. the lengthy discussions with your friends about dresses and hair……. trying on hundred of dresses only to find ‘the one’ was that first one you saw in the shop window….. (and hoping none shows up wearing the same!)… you have everything prepared – the limo, hair, make-up, friends coming over…. everything is ready….. and then the nerves kick in……

Apparantly she was nervous.  I could not tell. She was calm and relaxed and so willing to get into some awkward positions for the sake of a great photo….. She was glowing and gorgeous and looking just beautiful.

I just adore teenagers. There is something so magical about that time in your life. You have so many open doors… and so many that you have not even found yet….. so many possibilities….. and there is something refreshing about being around such a lovely close knit family.  They look like they just have so much fun together.

Thank you for welcoming me into your home to capture such a special time. Im sure it was a night to remember – for the parents having their own party at home as well as the those having a ride in a luxurious stretch limousine followed by a three course meal at one of the best hotels in Adelaide.

Photographing teenagers is invigorating! Especially when they are sisters! Although it does make me realise how old I am! The stories these two and their mum were telling us had Kate and I both in stitches….
